CumberlandGrows will increase further cooperation with other economic development agencies and professional marketing consultants to directly market to businesses who are not currently located in the Northeast U.S. and encourage them to consider expanding into Cumberland County, NJ to help them reach larger markets stretching from Washington to Boston and adjacent states.

The Goals Of CumberlandGrows

  • Bring in over 100 new jobs from companies entering Cumberland County.

  • Increase lead generation by 50 percent at companies or site selectors looking at Cumberland County properties.

  • Increase payroll and tax revenue to local municipalities apart of the Cumberland Development Corporation.

  • 62 indirect new and retained jobs from Cumberland County businesses.

  • Induce 60 new jobs from economic growth.

  • Increase media presence from Cumberland Development Corporation towns by 100 percent.

  • Provide increased business assistance meetings, services, and training programs to spur new job development.
