DESCRIPTION:The Chamber welcomes Gerard (Jerry) Velazquez\, III\, President and CEO of the Cumberland County Improvement Authority\, who has led the transformation of the authority from mainly the operator of the county solid waste complex and recycling program to a leader in development and redevelopment projects. \nWith his leadership and innovative approaches and the support of the CCIA Board\, the Board of Freeholders and public and private sector partners\, 9 projects totaling $109 million dollars in public and private investment and many new jobs have been completed. \nThe CCIA improves more than facilities and buildings.
